My name is Aracely Ortega, creator of Morir Sonandoe.

I grew up in Union City, NJ. I am the youngest of 4, with an 8-year age gap from the rest of my siblings.

My art is an extension of my feelings. Although I wish it was filled with positivity and joy, it’s not. I have a lot of feelings, and it would be a disservice to myself to not reflect, or express even the most morbid. I love when art moves me. Experiencing a project that challenges me to think, and behave differently is all that keeps me moving in life. I only hope my work challenges you to push the limits of your imagination, and find peace in the unimaginable.
